Add on a discounted Fall and Winter Season's Pass
The Masters Nordic Ski program at Hardwood Ski and Bike is designed to offer skiers a learning and training experience that includes small group and personal coaching, skill development and technical support to prepare you for the next Loppet, Ski Marathon, or the Masters World Cup.
Masters Training Program:
This program is for experienced skiers who are looking to achieve new levels of success in the next Masters ski race.
Fall:October 1 - First Snow- Dryland training (including roller skiing) with 1 group workout per week plus coach directed personal workouts.
Winter: Snow-March 3 - Two on snow meetings weekly with personalized goal setting and skill development. Race preparedness and nutrition guidance for skiers to meet their optimal performance.
The group will meet Saturday at 9:30 am (coach and group may alter or add, on a need to basis) plus one midweek workout that will be decided on at a future date. The timing may alter based on program popularity and abilities of registrants.
High Performance add on: Get personalized performance reviews and additional dry land workouts with Head Coach Sam Greer. Fitness testing, Heart Rate zone establishment, and personalized training through Training Peaks and more.
Loppet/Learn to Race Program
Skiers looking to challenge themselves in this season's loppets or races will be coached and guided to achieve new levels. Whether you are new to the racing or loppet scene or need some guidance to get to that finish line, this program is a great way to meet new people and achieve your winter goals. This program is for skiers with a good comfort and understanding of nordic technique and can ski an average of 8 km without over excertion.
Fall: October 14- First Snow: Once a week dryland pole running or team workouts (roller skiing will be a personal option only) plus suggested training strategies throughout the week.
Winter: Snow-March 1 - Two weekly training sessions with personalized coaching. Loppet preparation and waxing instruction are all part of the full experience.
This group will meet Saturday mornings at 10am.
Hardwood Masters Club membership:
This is a drop in group who will ski Tuesdays and Thursday mornings at 8:30am, once the trails are open. Your entry fee will get you access to Hardwood Masters special events, race jerseys, and more. This group will be for anyone with a good handle on ski technique and moderate fitness. This is a social group and no instruction is involved.
